CORPORATE BACKGROUND

Tri-Magnetics Corporation was established in 1982 as a manufacturing company geared towards the highly specialized function of backup computer media. In the beginning, Tri-products were created by a group of engineers, known professionals in the magnetic media industry. TRI engineers developed Hy-Critical System, which was one of the first computer tapes manufactured thru a process normally reserved for the magnetic recording surfaces of disk packs. Thru time, Tri-Magnetics Corp. has evolved into a specialized testing lab for all types of magnetic recording media. TRI engineers have continually transferred their certification process to test other ½” magnetic products such as: 3480, 3490, 3490E, 3590, 4mm, 8mm, and DLT cartridges.
