Re-certified storage products

Continual maintenance of magnetic tapes through cleaning and recertifying can minimize and possibly eliminate system downtime due to tape failure .

Tape certification is available as both a service where you can send your tapes in for us to certify and/or you can purchase tapes, which have already been certified. Each tape is 100% individually certified @ 1600bpi for zero defects, when tested at a 35% clipping level. Each tape is certified in accordance with the industry standard WT-0051C qualification acceptance criteria. This certification criterion exceeds physical and magnetic recording forth in ANSI document X 3.40. Tapes are tested in-house in our specialized testing lab.
